About Our Staff
Monica - Dental Assistant
was born in Germany. She moved to Richmond
and joined our Family Dental Practice in 1996.
You will see her in every part of the office
- she is a real team player! She is willing and able
to help everyone! Monica has 2 daughters and 2 dogs
that keep her busy at home.
She enjoys camping and going to the beach.
Doris - Book Keeper
is a native Minnesotan. She moved to Richmond to escape the cold winters and the snow.
She has been with Larson and Roelofs Family Dentistry, Inc. since 1995. Doris works in the
business office of our practice. She can help you with your billing questions
and much more! Just ask! Doris has 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. When not working,
she likes to read, listen to music, garden and trying out new recipes.
Lisa - Financial / Insurance /Office Manager
is originally from the D.C. area. She relocated to Richmond and has
been with our Family Dental Practice since 1999. Lisa can assist you with your financial
concerns and insurance related issues. She will help make your dental treatment fit into your
budget. Lisa helps out at the front desk and she even dons a lab coat and assists chairside if
necessary! Lisa has 3 sons and enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and cooking.
Seema - Dental Assistant
is originally from Pakistan. Seema came to the USA in 1996 with her husband. She says she
likes this beautiful country with its friendly people and the sense of security and freedom
(both religious and otherwise). Seema began working with us in 2002. She is always friendly
and eager to help. Seema likes to read and knit in her spare time.
Shelley - Scheduling Coordinator
has been with Larson/Roelofs since 2002. She is the friendly voice you will hear on the phone.
Shelley will greet you and do her best to make you comfortable during your stay. Shelley has
worked in the healthcare profession for over 5 years and finds it very rewarding. Shelley enjoys time
with her 2 children and her fiancee. In her free time she likes reading, movies and long walks.
Jan - Hygienist
since graduating from Howard University Dental Hygiene program in 1982, Jan has strived to deliver excellent patient care in a loving and gentle fashion. She has a daughter, a son and a grandchild. Jan loves to read and play pool. She is involved in Texas hold'em contests.
Angie - Dental Assistant
has been in the dental field since 1996 and loves it! You will find Angie throughout the office always with a smile on her face. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, two children and lots of dogs. Angies hobbies include painting, decorating, crafts and camping.
Breanne - Hygienist
though an RVA native, she has relocated back to Virginia after spending several exciting years in New York City. While in New York, Bre attended NYU School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2007 with honors in the Dental Hygiene program. When not busy providing top-notch patient care, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets.
